To register and participate in this drawing, and other Lottery promotions and surveys, you must provide some personal information such as your name, ZIP code, e-mail address and/or telephone number so that Lottery can contact you. We collect no personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. If you win a prize, we may use your name and the city where you live in a Lottery promotional campaign, advertisement, or press release. You should be aware that although we do not generally disclose personal information to others, all information collected at this site becomes a public record under Oregon’s Public Records Law, ORS 192.410 to 192.505 and may be subject to inspection and copying by the public. We will be required to disclose your personal information if ordered by a court or the Attorney General, or if otherwise required by law.

St.Patrick’s Day Promotional Drawing

How to Play & Prize(s)
You can win up to $3,000 when you enter and refer up to five of your friends. Entries will be accepted via the www.oregonlotteryloyalty.org/st-patricks-giveaway web site.
Once you register/enter for this promotional drawing, you will be given the option of referring up to five of your friends, via e-mail. You’ll be eligible to win $500 for each friend referred who enters the drawing, for a maximum possible total individual prize of $3,000. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday, March 24, 2010 until 6:00 p.m. PST.
You must be over 18 years of age at the time of entry and provide the following: full name, ZIP code, e-mail address and/or phone number, so we can contact you if you win. No purchase is necessary. One entry per person. You agree that you will hold harmless and indemnify the Oregon Lottery and the State of Oregon from and against any damages based on your participation in this promotion.

If a winner’s friend(s) successfully registered, each friend will receive a $500 prize.
Drawing Details
There will be a random number generator (RNG) drawing selecting one winner. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.
The drawing will be held on or around Thursday, March 25, 2010. The drawing will be conducted at the Lottery Headquarters in Salem, Oregon.
Notification of Winner
- Winner(s) notification will happen no later than the week following the drawing.
- The Oregon State Lottery will notify the winner(s) by e-mail or phone. For this drawing, notification of registered friend(s) will also be done by the Lottery.
- The winner(s) will have 14 calendar days from the date of notification to claim the prize.
Prize Claim Rules
- Winner may claim the prize in person at the Lottery Headquarters in Salem, Oregon, download the Winner Claim Form from oregonlottery.org, or request to receive the form by mail.

Prize Taxes
- For a prize valued at $600.01 or over, the Oregon State Lottery will pay State and Federal Taxes where applicable.
- For a prize valued at $600.01 or over the Oregon State Lottery will offer a cash value option (ORS 18.750 to 18.760.)
- For prize valued over $5,000 taxes will be paid by the Oregon State Lottery.
